Angel Share Auction

The Washington Wine Industry Foundation is dedicated to advancing the interests of the Washington wine industry through education, scholarships, research, information and outreach. WWIF is home to scholarships including those honoring Walter Clore, John Farmer, Horse Heaven Hills Winegrowers, George Carter and S.W. (Bill) Preston - each targeting deserving viticulture and enology students.

On Thursday, February 4, 2010 the Foundation will hold its annual benefit at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.  The silent and live Angel Share Auction is hosted by the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers during the Unity banquet at the WAWGG meeting and trade show.

Proceeds from the Angel Share auction benefit industry scholarships and make possible the support needed for projects such as the Latino Ag Education Program, Ag in the Classroom, Vinewise® and Winewise, the WSU grape research vineyard and WSU Virus Indexing Greenhouse, both at Prosser.

What might your Angel Share be?  We need your support and are looking for a variety of items: Vineyard and winery equipment, supplies or services, events at your home or winery, restaurant gift certificates, golf or travel packages, gift certificates, concert tickets, special library wines, art work, sport event tickets, gift baskets, or one-of-a-kind items!

This event attracts a diverse group of over 400 guests including the leading growers and winemakers of Washington.  This special audience provides an opportunity to showcase your products or services and, if you also attend, to have fun while mingling with other friends of the wine industry!
